NiLu is a Harlem based gift boutique that curates local goods from makers, artists, and artisans of Harlem, NY. As a brick and mortar store, NiLu was interested in developing an online presence which called for establishing a brand identity and launch campaign.

To develop the brand identity and voice, NiLu was looking to partner with a creative storyteller to hone in on the messaging. I developed the brand promise, mission statement, tagline, and positioning statement along with identifying target audience, establishing brand voice to be used across platforms, and creating editorial calendar for the new site.

To establish NiLu’s digital presence, we launched an online magazine capturing the essence of Harlem culture and the artisans that make up the boutique’s curated selection featuring city guides, artist interviews, gift guides and more.
